Elegant Cruise Night

Another of my favorite activity on board is formal night.  You don’t need to spend fortune to achieve a great formal look, and you don’t need to be nominated by the Academy Award committee to dress in a beautiful gown. On formal night, two thousand people dress for the evening. It’s a beautiful scene. I love to watch all the elegant gowns and meet interesting people.

Progresso, Mexico Beach Stroll

The bridge in front of me leads to the Port where our Cruise Ship was docked. A free bus brings all of the passengers to the Beach and into town.

This is another great buy from Old Navy’s End Of Summer Swimsuit sale. The top and the bottom are mismatched but look great together. Another key factor here  is the whole day at the beach is free, and free is always much more fun.

A Day In Progresso

The street vendor placed this hat on my head, it’s great to keep the sun out, but I still prefer mine.

Many of the restaurants in Mexico have an animal Logo outside of their establishment. This one happens to be a Frog wearing a Hawaiian Shirt.

Downtown Progresso has more Americans than locals, but the locals are VERY friendly. You can go in and out of the stores and try on everything. Most of the local people working at the stores speak little English though. All of the clothing is very colorful and tropical.
