Leaving Venice: Sweater over Summer Dress

Despite of my reluctance, I have to leave Venice. So many memories will remain in the city of Love. I will always cherish the time I spent there. You can’t take any bad pictures of the city, every corner of it is an art of its own. Today is a cloudy day to begin with, and it’s nearly dawn, so the pictures are not clear, I wasn’t going to post these originally, but on second look, the pictures look like in a dream, that’s exactly how I felt when I thought about Venice.

I love taking water buses going around the city on Grand Canal. Convenient and affordable, provided if it’s not a high travel season. What you see here is a water bus station in the center of town.

Love all the old buildings, especially churches in Italy.  You could never imagine how much extravagance they put into these churches. My home-made Chinese dress fits the tourist crowd very well, since there are more Chinese tourists in Venice than any other country.

Nothing is more beautiful than Venice, but at times the crowds become an issue. This time is not even the high season, and it’s so crowded in the main places along the Grand Canal. We choose to go through smaller venues for these photos. This way you see the beauty of the City of Love while it provides us a more quiet and personal environment.
